Use the 16-bit version for Windows 3.11: AllChars version 1.2x. Watch Out ! Windows NT 4.0 users -------------------------------- Windows NT 4.0 users need to use the DLL in the NT40 directory ! The default DLL does NOT work for Windows NT 4.0. The NT DLL works also for Windows95. However the 'macro compatibility mechanisme' (see manual) in the default DLL is the better one, so use this one for Windows95. Windows NT 4.0 users: copy ALLCHR32.DLL from the NT40 folder to your AllChars folder. ALLCHR32.DLL 42.496 bytes - for Windows95 ONLY NT40\ALLCHR32.DLL 41.984 bytes - for Windows NT 4.0 What is AllChars ? ------------------ AllChars for Windows is a Windows utility that makes all ANSI-characters easy accessable within every Windows application. Just type a CTRL-key (and release it !) followed by two characters that combined specify the character. AllChars is very intuitive in usage, transparent to other programs and adjustable by the user. Type CTRL h h to show all special characters and there key-combinations. Version 2 of AllChars also knows MACRO's. With this you can make AllChars enter any string of characters in your application by just hitting three keys (the CTRL-key followed by two characters). Installing and using AllChars ----------------------------- Just copy this stuff to any directory and add ALLCHARS.EXE to your startup group if you want to start it every time Windows starts.
